State-of-the-art Imaging

Home to one of northern Nevada's first fully digital facilities, this 3,500 square foot department offers X-ray and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services, as well as ultrasound and DXA (bone densitometry).

Surgery Center

Open since 2002, Saint Mary's JCAHO approved surgery facility, located in southwest Reno, gives patients and physicians a convenient and safe alternative to surgery at a hospital. Saint Mary's Surgery Center at Galena offers state-of-the-art technology in each of its operating rooms. A wide range of surgical procedures are offered on an outpatient basis including; ear, nose and throat surgery, gynecological procedures, orthopedic surgery, eye surgery and general surgery, as well as fully equipped preoperative and post-anesthesia care areas. Saint Mary's Surgery Center at Galena focuses on providing you the most positive outpatient surgery experience possible. With a comfortable and private facility, advanced surgical suites and a dedicated medical staff, your procedure can be faster, less invasive, and more comfortable. Because Saint Mary's Surgery Center at Galena is independent, any licensed physician may apply for privileges. Currently, more than 100 physicians utilize our facility. Hospice

Saint Mary's Hospice of Northern Nevada is the community's oldest and most experienced hospice provider and has been for more than 25 years, providing service to Reno, Sparks and Carson City. Our team of professionals include specially-trained doctors, nurses, aides, support counselors, chaplains and volunteers. Working together, these professionals provide a complete program of care, including pain and symptom management, equipment and supplies provisions, emotional and spiritual support and counseling, respite care and bereavement services.
